Kettenfabrik Mester GmbH is one of the leading anchor chain cables manufactures in Europe. All major shipyards, shipowners and offshore companies trust the undoubted quality of our german production. In 2001 more than 15,000 tonnes of stud link anchor chain cables, in U1, U2, U3, ORQ and R3 quality, from 12,5 to 120 mm diameter and anchors totalling in excess of 2,000 tonnes, were delivered to our customers. Our manufacturing facilities are approved by all international classification societies: ABoS, BV, GL, LRS, MRS, DNV and Rina. 1998 we established our quality management system which is EN ISO 9002 approved. All chain is produced in our Dortmund factory. Anchors, up to an individual weight of 17 tonnes, are European origin. More than 14,000 seagoing vessels have been equipped with our products to the highest satisfaction of our customers.

	We stock approximately 4,000 tonnes of anchors, chain and all accessories. This allows us to deliver complete ship sets within 48 hours to every point in Europe. Special chain arrangements can be manufactured to order with prompt delivery.
Our customers include all major shipyards, world-wide. Our market share in Europe exceeds 60%.
